Yosemite Day Trip

The Sierra Nevada Corvette Club day trip for a spectacular late-fall day trip on October 22, 2026, by focusing on the scenic valley and potentially open high-country roads; arriving early with planned departure at 9 am is key to securing parking and capturing the iconic group photo at Tunnel View, which provides a breathtaking vista of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Falls. The main focus of the driving experience should be the winding Wawona Road (Highway 41) approach and the leisurely Yosemite Valley Loop along with the spectacular Glacier Point Road.

Laguna Seca Raceway

The Sierra Nevada Corvette Club will spend an exhilarating day mastering their performance cars by partnering with Hooked on Driving (HOD) for a High Performance Driving Experience (HPDE) at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca where we will enjoy dedicated track time, personalized 1:1 coaching, and run groups organized by skill level to safely explore the limits of their Corvettes in a non-competitive, low-pressure environment. Following a full day of high-speed thrills and improved driving technique, the club will transition to the stunning coastal ambiance of Carmel for a memorable dinner at the Mission Ranch Inn, offering Classic American Cuisine in a beautifully restored Clint Eastwood-owned property where they can unwind, recount their track adventures, and enjoy gorgeous views of grazing sheep and Point Lobos.
